Our amazingly cozy ship is a very safe
and versatile sea machine
PAYASO is a centered cockpit sailing vessel with an overall length of 51 feet, made of reinforced fiberglass designed as a sloop rigged yacht. Going around virgin islands or being anchored in a secluded bay for a drink or a good night of sleep is very handy, stable and so very easy with this all-around keel boat.
In the deep Blue sea, her perfect hydrodynamic design & shape give her the ability to point very well into the wind as much as to navigate in severe weather !
While “surfing” huge waves in the Ocean is also a pure delightful pleasure, PAYASO always gives you that great feeling of protection when inside her big belly! She also responds very well to the calm crystal clear water of the West Indies while anchored with a beautiful sunset ! 🙂
With over more than 20 years of sailing experience, we knew right from the beginning that this ship was the yacht of our dreams; we are very proud to share with all of our guests her incredible features!

Patto
KAPTAIN OF YACHT, FIRST-MATE, DECKHAND, EXPEDITION GUIDE, KITE INSTRUCTOR, CIRCUS PERFORMER, DANCER
& COOK
Born downtown Montreal, Canada, Patto is the co-founder of 5ElementsPro along with Julie.
Fully certified by the CYA and the FVQ as a sailing instructor, he started teaching and racing in the sailing world back in 1987.

He studied Holistic & Alternative Medicines at Hull University and started traveling intensively in 1995 where the whole world opened up to his eyes.
Patto has always been a “sport’s beast” and took part in many different competitions with elite teams back in the days.
He started windsurfing in the early 90’s and moved to Cabarete, D.R. to fullfill his dream of becoming a Pro Rider. Almost reaching on top of his professional windsurfing training, Patto had to stop doing extreme sports for a while due to a major motorcycle accident in 1996.
When he got back from recovery, almost two years after his accident, he kept windsurfing/wave riding only as a hobby to concentrate more on his professional circus career.
When Patto started KiteSurfing in 2011, there were no turning back ..and windsurfing stayed far behind !
In 2015, Patto became a certified IKO Kiteboarding Instructor (International Kiteboarding Organization).
He is an excellent cook as well and a very good expedition’s guide.
Patto is like the “Puss in Boots” !! Yes, a bloody Cat (..in chinese horoscope!) that just loves water!!
He’s a very open-minded person and avery easy-going soul. His Virgo zodiac sign allows him to aim for quality in everything he does. This Gentlemen-Pirate is also very charismatic, spontaneous, creative and fully loaded of good vibrations!!

Lilie is a university certified Organizational Leisure & Sports Therapist and has worked with lots of groups of all ages in different fields of sports and travels.
She got involved in the circus world in the late 90’s and still performing to this date as a juggler, dancer and trapezist. She started Kitesurfing in 2011 …and got totally addicted to it!! 🙂
Julie is a very good cook and an excellent leader!
This pretty girl is also known as a sweet lil’ Tiger (..in the chinese horoscope) making her a true dynamic & a hard-working person! As an Aquarius as well, she delivers a colorful, spontaneous and a very creative profil !

Totally coordinated kite weekend with friends for a reasonable price
” I visited Carriacou for a weekend kiting trip with friends, and Pato and Julie made the experience excellent.
They helped us arrange transportation to and from the ferry to manage our gear, sorted our accommodations and even reasonably priced meals for breakfast and lunch as well as transportation to and from a kite spot – which, for non-locals, is impossible on a Sunday because taxis don’t run that day in Carriacou!
I came to them for a gear rental and they expertly watched me rig and get going, explained where to avoid the shifty wind at the side of the bay, and besides assisting for the launch and drop they allowed me to have an independent session which I loved.
They even had two sizes ready for me at any point if the wind was changing throughout the day.
All in all a super well organized experience and we were thrilled to maximize our time on the water! “
